Too tired to fall asleep.

Had a few days off. I didn't manage to fulfil everything I planned, but I did manage to be as lazy as possible. Pretty good closure before going back to work: Driving to a show on a Sunday night with pretty nice people. Sitting outside between ugly concrete walls on wobbly garden chairs mocking about the opening band and watching the sky full of stars above us. Then going back into a dark, sweaty basement to listen to the second band which play total summer music. Coming home very late, not being able to sleep. Being totally tired but exhilarated on Monday, sad to be back at work again but with happy summer music in my head. Sometimes it's stunning how cheerful I can be.

Dear world, sometimes you are so ridiculous.

Not only no time, headache, a dirty kitchen and a broken car.
I've wanted to buy cigarettes today together with my groceries and was told to show my ID. Say what? I'm 33 years old.
She was really serious. Actually I didn't know how to react, my first impulse was: to laugh. But I couldn't so I was just staring at her, smirking, and asked: "Seriously? Why?". She wouldn't answer and said, she won't sell me cigarettes If I don't show my ID. Probably my question was a bit useless in the first place.

But I couldn't show my ID because I don't have it anymore. Some stupid asshole stole it along with my whole wallet, my cell phone and my Yashica T4. So I'm yashicaless right now. Of course I didn't tell her any of these things. I just paid my other stuff and walked away, 3 meters across the room to a small newspaper kiosk and bought the cigarettes over there.

However, although I'll be yashicaless for a while, there are good things.
Some people showed wonderful support, as well as practically, emotionally and financially.

Thank you very much, I really appreciate this.

Dear world, sometimes you are really ridiculous. Fortunately there are people who are able to adjust this deficit sometimes.

Good things.

The kitchen window was open all night long for the first time in this year. I love it. Going totally sleepy into the kitchen which is filled with cool, but not too cold, fresh air, hearing birds and making coffee.

A new pillow for better sleep. And a new blanket to keep the bed safe from cat hair. At least, it's worth a try.

Planting plants and pretending to have a garden like every year.

For example, this garden sorrel has been accompanying me for over 7 years. We have quite a good relationship. It will look all fancy in about two weeks.

The sun of course.

Mango-basil cream cake.

Good things.

Recovering from the most severe cold I've had in years.

Getting lovely short e-mails from friends with silly photos to cheer me up.

Looking forward to the SICKOIDS show in June.

Washi tape.

Cooking a big pot of a spicy, fruity carrot-potato soup with veggie sausages.

My growing-like-a-maniac avocado.

Good things.

Having a nice weekend with awesome girls in Berlin.
Washi tape.
Having a nice sunday with an awesome girl in Nürnberg.
Woschech. Again and again. This cat is great.
Getting a small parcel with chocolate at work from a nice customer. Just like that.
Having four days off.
Looking forward to spring time while ignoring this snow-rain-muddy-nonsense out there.
The Scared is scared.

Not so good:
Woschech won't have two eyes any longer. Due to his cataract his right eye will be removed tomorrow.
He's already completely blind on this eye and his eye pressure is always way too high because the infection is too strong.
I will think about cookies and other things I like until I can pick him up in the evening.
